Great food great service reasonably priced

Excellent catfish at really good prices. Five large pieces, fries and hush puppies for around $8. It's enough food that my wife and I often share. They also serve shrimp, oysters and crawfish. Service is always great as well.

I have really good food in the people that work there really nice also

Food is awesome, Manager was very friendly. The wait staff were very busy, but managed to attend to all of their customers needs in a timely manner. They will cook your order to your preference of seasong which is very nice with boiled seafood that can be very hot. This is our second time eating at the New Port and we will be back

I was a little shocked at how good the food is, and the price point! Both of them make it worth a visit! I drove 40 minutes to there, because of a recommendation, and I didn't regret it! A 5-piece catfish meal is $9.95

Love the tortas ... Just think they should throw in a bag of chips or some type of side with it for the price of just the sandwich.

This place serves the most amazing food. My husband had the frog legs. They were humongous. I had the fried crawfish tales and 1 # spicy boiled shrimp with corn and potatoes. Best boiled shrimp I have ever eaten and they were covered in seasoning. Red dipping sauce was delicious. Food came out super fast and was piping hot. Service was excellent. Extremely reasonable prices. Worth the trip. We will definitely eat here again.

Never disappoints. Food is always crispy,hot and plentiful. Price on 5 large pieces of fried catfish, tons of french fries, 3 different sauces and little hush puppies that are very spicy is about $10.00 as of 2-2020. Too much for one so we split it at lunch time and for take away. We usually have 2large pieces left over and they reheat, honest they do.... Crowded at noon. Fresh all the time and staff are nice and quick. You must try it. Beats the heck out of the townies. Did I mention that the shrimp ARE deveined????????

This place always has good food. We are from out of town and always eat here when we are in town visiting family.

The New Pier never disappoints! It is my first time eating here and I really liked their boiled shrimp! The staff are super welcoming and they always smile, too!

This is the best fish around. We have been going here with my parents since they opened.We have made several special trips from Houston just to go here

Went by a few days ago for lunch. The dining room was still closed which was a disappointment. Someone came right out and took our order and brought it out when ready, that went smoothly. The reason I like them is they have an amazing crispy crust, but after steaming in the styrofoam container til I got home, it lost some of its crispness, another disappointment. But it is always 5 star when u can eat there. Hopefully will reopen soon, most places already have

Lots of great food at a great price, was busy but service was still good. It would have been nice to know that we needed to pay the cashier instead of the waitress because we waited almost 15 minutes before asking another waitress (ours disappeared after getting the check) but other than that was a great first visit

First time coming to this place, and it didn't disappoint. Had the boiled shrimp, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The alligator nuggets were really good too. Don't know what one guy was talking about when he said he didn't like the sauces. I thought they were delicious. Will eat here again.

The fish are perfectly cooked as are the shrimp. The hushpuppies will suit the tastes of most with the slight heat provided by bits of jalapenos. Tables and booths are well bussed and the staff are very friendly. All of this for a reasonable price.

Great price and Good Foo

Wait was less than 15 minutes. Service was excellent. The gumbo, fish, and shrimp was excellent! Amazed how quickly they could turn it around to get tables for those waiting. Will definitely recommend the restaurant and we will return.

Don't order the shrimp salad. The shrimp was freezing cold and the tomatoes weren't close to being ripe. Four stars still because the service is good and this is the first thing I've ever eaten here that I swore never to order again.

Went there twice in two days. Service the first day at lunch time was outstanding. The food was hot and lots of it for the price. Went back on Friday for supper. Service was once again top notch and the food was hot and plentiful. Everyone seemed to know the menu and could answer all the questions we had. If you like seafood, you'll love this place. I don't eat out often but I will certainly be back to this place. Can only be described using strong, positive superlatives.

Big selection of seafood. Good if you like fried seafood. There were boiled shrimp on the menu. Delicious fries, nice and crispy. Staff is attentive and friendly. When I was there around 1:30 on a Monday, there were lots of senior citizens there.

Good place to get shrimp and fish. Not fond of the catfish cornmeal breading, hushpuppies, nor the sauces.

I don't eat seafood but my husband loved it. The chicken fried chicken was cooked prefect. I also loved those jalapeno hushpuppies!!

If you like fried catfish, then this is the place to go. If you like fried anything, then this is the place to go. The only thing they don't fry is the iced tea. I love this place but it really does cut your life expectancy down a few months every time you eat there.
